Telecom sector: 10-year anniversary

A long-standing client from the telecom industry commissioned Vischer, Merkt & Partner
to organize the celebrations for the tenth anniversary of its entry on the Swiss market.

The VIP client event was held in Miller’s Studio in Zurich. We were happy to welcome
Mr. Marc Furrer, the President of ComCom, as guest speaker. After speeches by the
CEO and Mr. Furrer, a wonderful finger-food cocktail was served in the “Blaue Ente” (or
Blue Duck). During the cocktail, our client’s entire front-office team took the chance to
improve their personal contacts with the 130 clients present and share a number of
interesting discussions.

The staff get-together was organized under the motto “Top of Europe” and was held in
Grindelwald and on the Jungfraujoch. At “base camp”, 150 employees were given a warm
welcome and discovered the rest of the day’s program. It was similar to a mountain hiking expedition: preparation at base camp, transfer to the Jungfraujoch, glacier walking, dis-
cussion of experiences with the CEO and the special guest Hans-Ruedi Gertsch, raising
a glass to success on the “Top of Europe” Sphinxterrasse and the obligatory team photo.
Then the descent and return to Grindelwald. A hearty evening meal was then served in
“Barry’s” traditional restaurant and the anniversary was celebrated joyfully at the bar until the early hours of the morning.
